1. Attractive hourly rates + penalty rates on overtime
2. Permanent position
3. Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm

The position of Yardperson at our Toowoomba branch is a key support role, responsible for the maintenance of the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment.

As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to:

1. Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures.
2. Perform general yard duties, including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
3. Assist with basic service and repair of non-high-risk equipment in a workshop environment.
4. Promote a Safety First culture – talk about safety to your colleagues and customers.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

As well as having experience in a similar role, you will also have the following:

1. A current forklift & driver’s license is required
2. Experience loading and unloading including knowledge of load restraints desirable
3. A strong knowledge of and commitment to safety
