What is the role?

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Plenti is essential to building our outstanding team and driving our growth as a leading fintech company. In this dynamic and impactful position, you will manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and engaging top talent to ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers across various departments to understand their unique needs, craft compelling job descriptions, and drive the search for the best candidates who will thrive at Plenti.

Your expertise will shape the candidate journey, ensuring every individual has an exceptional and seamless experience with Plenti, from initial outreach to final offer to onboarding. You’ll actively build and manage a robust pipeline of high-quality talent, while also supporting our employer branding initiatives to position Plenti as an employer of choice in the fintech industry.

You'll collaborate with industry bodies, help us stay ahead of hiring trends, and bring your expertise to ensure we have the right talent to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Lifecycle: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to candidate offer, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  2. Talent Sourcing: Proactively source and identify top talent using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct outreach.
  3. Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each department and role, providing guidance on job descriptions, candidate profiles, and interview processes. Coach hiring managers on Plenti’s recruitment process and interviewing skills to ensure recruitment of top talent and a seamless candidate experience.
  4. Screening and Interviewing: Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  5. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication, feedback, and support.
  6. Employer Branding: Promote Plenti’s culture and values to potential candidates, ensuring that our employer brand is communicated effectively in the market.
  7. Onboarding Support: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and pre-employment checks are completed.
  8. Recruitment Metrics: Track and report on recruitment metrics, candidate quality and sourcing effectiveness, to continuously improve the recruitment process. Provide feedback on areas requiring improvement.
  9. Diversity and Inclusion: Support Plenti’s commitment to diversity and inclusion by ensuring that hiring practices are fair, unbiased, and inclusive.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role, preferably, but not essential, in a fintech or tech-driven environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, interview techniques, and candidate assessment.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage candidates, hiring managers, and senior stakeholders.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple roles simultaneously.
  5. Experience using recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  6. Familiarity with employer branding strategies and promoting company culture to potential hires.
  7. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.

Reporting Relationships:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be in the People and Culture team, and will report directly to the Head of People and Culture.

Additional Information:

  1. This role is open to full time candidates and part time (4 days/week) candidates.
  2. Hybrid work - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
  3. This role will be located in Sydney or Adelaide.
