Your Role: Simulator Technician

Be the driving force behind M1A2 Immersive Tactical Trainer (ITT)! As a Simulator Technician, you'll ensure flawless administrative, maintenance, and training support for ITT’s, following contract specifications. This is a permanent full-time role located in Townsville, North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the ITT is prepared for training daily during normal training Tempo
  • Provide on-site after-hours support for M1A2 gunnery training upon approval.
  • Offer off-site on-call assistance during non-operational hours.
  • Support ITT when deployed Off-Site.
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance for ITTs.
  • Deliver comprehensive training courses for operators, instructors, as required
  • Customize training scenarios as requested.
  • Liaise with customers for upgrades and improvements.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proficiency in computer maintenance and networking with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Skilled in technical writing and publications management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in training development and delivery.
  • Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of configuration management processes.
