The Role

• Underwrite Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers and Management Liability Insurance
• Develop long term sustainable relationships with brokers through own network, allocated brokers and in conjunction with the State Manager QLD.

• Underwrite Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers and Management Liability Insurance
• Develop and implement marketing plan
• Develop and build broker relationship
• Participate in relevant professional organisations as a representative of the company
• Ensure that budget goals are met in terms of revenue and expenses
• Participate in goal setting, planning and executive decision-making
• Mentor Underwriters and Business Support

• Tertiary qualifications in Insurance or related discipline
• 5+ years of Insurance industry experience in underwriting and or broking
• Experience marketing and general broker development
• Excellent knowledge of Professional Indemnity, Management Liability and Directors and Officers Liability, sound knowledge of Public / Products Liability
• Demonstrated track record of new business development
• Risk aware but not adverse
• Excellent communication skills
