Reliability Engineer

We’re seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Reliability Engineer to join our small but high-performing Engineering team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer, this role will be based primarily at our brand-new Salisbury South complex, with regular travel to our Mile End and Parkside sites. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance of our production equipment as we continue to grow.

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on professional with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role—preferably within the food manufacturing industry—or a background as a fitter and turner. In this role, you will be directly involved in problem-solving and day-to-day operations, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a focus on delivering practical, efficient solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Lead maintenance and repair efforts to enhance equipment reliability, productivity and safety.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans.
• Manage contractors to ensure compliance with safety, quality and budget requirements.
• Record all maintenance activities using Computerised Maintenance Management Software.
• Optimise spare parts inventory and implement cost-effective strategies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams, including new product development, to improve efficiency.
• Support strategic capital works projects.
• Ensure work health and safety standards are maintained and statutory compliance is met.
