Project Coordinator – Melbourne or Brisbane
The Opportunity
We are seeking an entry level Project Implementation Co-ordinator to join our Equipment team to be based in either Melbourne or Brisbane.
As the Project Coordinator, you will:
Support new business implementation: management and support of key project tasks, implementation of operational processes, procedures, providing training and education.
Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance.
Ensure the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported on and managed at all times.
Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
This role is pivotal in ensuring best practice systems and processes are embedded within the business to deliver ongoing sustained improvement. The role will predominantly interface with internal customers, but interaction will also be required with external customers about operational reviews and customer-related Continuous Improvement (C.I.) initiatives.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1+ years demonstrated experience working on project implementation and/or continuous improvement programs.
Experience working in a multi-disciplined, customer-facing organisation managing a multi-disciplinary team including remote workers.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Understanding in internal/external stakeholder training or project management delivery, preferred.
Knowledge within the Transport Industry and environment is an advantage.
Experience with Logistics or E.R.P. administration tasks is an advantage.
