Reporting to the Superintendent Planning and Infrastructure, this role is responsible for the strategic and technical mine ventilation and services work in the 2-8 year planning horizon. The Principal Ventilation and Services Engineer will play an instrumental role in supporting technical work of one of the largest and most complex underground mines in the world. The role provides guidance to a wide range of technical and operational stakeholders with a focus on the overall mine ventilation system and environment and the underground mine services network and both their impacts on safety, production, cost and achievement of the mine plan and future growth at Olympic Dam.
This position is based at Adelaide on a 5:2 roster with occasional site travel to Olympic Dam, flexible work arrangements available.
