Performance Analyst

Your Impact

You will be part of COO’s Performance Chapter and Financial Crime Domain. The Performance Chapter is responsible for ensuring that the COO has the strategy, portfolio and processes in place to deliver the Group’s vision and enable our Crews collective ambitions.

More specifically you will

  • Assist the Chapter Lead with the annual and quarterly planning cycle to achieve business outcomes and efficiency, contributing to the Domain’s Annual commitments and memos.
  • Track and report progress against the domain objectives and key results; leverage data driven insights to inform continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and enhance the domain’s operating rhythm, cadences and tools to optimise the flow of work, escalations and decision making.
  • Support tracking of agility metrics working closely with the Agility practice to identify opportunities to improve execution, velocity and business value for the crew.
  • Support domain performance forums and oversee compliance with delivery frameworks (including initiatives, dependencies and risks) to ensure the business is operating with Group policies.
  • Analyse and interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Effectively develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders including your Crew Leadership, Finance, Compliance and Risk.
  • Manage high complexity and change, solve problems and operate with an enterprise mindset.
  • Support the development of centralised operational procedures and tools that are streamlined and consistent across all teams including KPI's, delivery and Strategic Planning Process.
  • Act as a conduit across teams to facilitate information flow, ensure commitments can be delivered, and risks and issues are escalated.
  • Ensure domain adoption of the Group's delivery framework, technology and methodologies.

More specifically, and amongst other things, you will:

  • Have strong technical knowledge of Jira and reporting within Jira.
  • Respond to tactical and strategic reporting requirements, delivering insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Develop and maintain data processes and infrastructure to support operational outcomes.
  • Deliver business initiatives that drive desired customer, colleague or business and strategy outcomes.
  • Manage and grow trusted relationships with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Connect with industry partners to build trusted partnerships eg. MFAA, CBA, aggregators etc.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written, with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential.
  • Analytical capability and experience is essential.
  • Intermediate Excel capabilities are essential.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and/or SAS is preferred.
  • Risk management capability and experience is preferred.
  • Business acumen and change delivery capability is desirable but not essential.
