Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional network engineering, coupled with experience in cloud involves designing, implementing, and maintaining both on-premise and cloud-based network systems to ensure optimal performance and security.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy network solutions for on-premise and cloud environments. Implement and manage virtual networks, VPN gateways, and Azure ExpressRoute.
  2. Cloud Network Engineering: Design and implement cloud-based network solutions using Azure cloud platforms. Manage and optimize cloud network architectures to ensure efficient data flow and security.
  3. Zerto Site Pairing Network Solutions: Design and deploy for Zerto Site Pairing networking solutions for “site recovery” approach migration.
  4. Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce network security policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Azure VMware Solution (AVS): Assist in the deployment and management of Azure VMware Solution environments. Provide support for AVS-related network configurations and integrations.
  6. Documentation and Collaboration: Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls). Experience with Zerto Site Pairing technologies and network solutions. Experience with cloud network engineering, particularly with Azure. Exposure to Azure VMware Solution (AVS) is a plus.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in “traditional” and cloud network design and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). Familiarity with network security best practices and tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  4. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or similar are preferred.
  5. Security clearance: (NV1 preferred) or eligibility to obtain clearance.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance.
  2. On-call and Shift Expectations: This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
  3. Must be willing to work from Accenture/client office location 3 days a week (2 days WFH)
