Marketing & Corporate Affairs (MCA) works across the Group as a trusted partner to build and protect CBA’s reputation and brand equity, increase CBA’s competitive advantage, and support the Group’s business success and market value.

Corporate Affairs strengthens stakeholder support and advocacy for CBA by shaping, articulating, and bringing to life how the bank is creating a brighter future for all, from individual customers to the national agenda.
In this role, you will be part of the Brand, Partnerships & Creative team in Marketing. The focus of the team is to accelerate brand and reputation, drive customer, employee, and community advocacy, and deliver business value through disciplined marketing excellence, an inspired team and culture.
MCA, alongside the broader CBA Group, has transitioned to agile ways of working. In an agile capacity, this role is a Chapter Member in the Brand Strategy & Governance team.

As a Marketing Manager, Brand Projects, you’ll play an important role in managing and protecting the brand of one of Australia’s leading financial institutions.
You’ll help us to:
Create a consistent brand experience by reviewing and providing feedback on all external and internal communications.
Engage our people and partners to understand the strategy and brand identity and consult to bring it to life through communications and experiences.
Support the productivity of the Brand Strategy & Governance team.
The role contributes to helping build a brighter future for all, by focusing on our customer and stakeholder experience, fostering pride in our people, and contributing to our leadership position in banking.
On any given day, you will:
Provide brand review and approvals: visual and tonal brand consultation and approvals across the Group, aligning to brand strategy and identity.
Lead brand projects and engagement: partner, engage and educate key teams across the business and agencies, and support team strategic projects to bring our brand to life—including brand leads forums.
Maintain and share brand tools and guides that enable our people and our agencies to create communications and experiences that reflect our brand strategy, including but not limited to:
ongoing brand strategy and identity training
brand education materials for our people
brand toolkit/s (various versions)
best practice guides and upholding strategic principles across the group
Management of team productivity: financial and budget management (including administration processing and sign offs); Digital Asset Management (DAM); team meetings, events, and planning days; governance streamlining.
Foster and contribute to a positive team culture by living and demonstrating values-led behaviour, and proactively working in a constructive way across the Group.
We’d love to hear from people who have:
A passion for brands and expertise in brand strategy and management, guiding brands to life across multiple touchpoints.
Some experience as a Brand Manager or Brand Campaign Manager, with exceptional attention to detail within a customer centric organisation.
Self-starter, confident influencing and collaborating across teams at different levels in a dynamic and matrixed organisation.
Broad-thinking and problem-solving: a blend of creative, strategic, and analytical mindset.
Highly organised, with experience in project management, process improvement and administration.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
