Manager, Emerging Talent Programs
About the role
This newly created position will design, lead and implement Sydney Water’s Emerging Talent strategy to align to our enterprise workforce plan. The Manager, Emerging Talent Programs will translate current and future workforce needs into effective enterprise-wide strategies tailored to the specific needs of each business group. You will consult business leaders along with the broader People & Culture team in designing our Emerging Talent initiatives, including governance, to ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation and Sydney Water policies. Providing expert advice on all aspects of Emerging Talent including Tertiary sector industry trends, attraction and selection and development methodologies, you will also represent Sydney Water at relevant industry body events, conferences and symposiums.
About you
* You will have significant experience managing and delivering Emerging Talent Strategies and Programs, in roles with accountability for skills selection, development and program management.
* Exceptional writing, oral and visual communication skills combined with sound interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional stakeholder relationships and engage productively with conflict.
* Sound program management skills including the ability to plan, deliver and evaluate program and events, drawing in different perspectives to design and test solutions, and brief up to your management and executive team and out to stakeholders.
* An ability to identify and solve problems with a systems lens to enable better decision-making, continuous improvements and the achievement of outcomes.
* Certification in psychometric assessment and/or team effectiveness tools (essential) (e.g. Human Synergistics; SHL; Korn Ferry; DISC; TLC, Hogan)
