About the Role

As a Journey Expert within the Broker value stream, you’ll join a small, lean team that focuses on the experience of mortgage brokers and their customers. With a focus on creating differentiating experiences, you’ll drive continuous delivery of a new broker experience at ANZ.

You’ll be the expert in all things that create the broker proposition including the modern technology needed to support (Salesforce); you are instrumental in how requirements are defined, implemented, and used.

What could your day look like?

Your focus will be supporting the squad Product Owner to shape the finer details of the new broker proposition to enhance how our brokers interact with ANZ and get the best and most suitable home lending product for their customers. This includes how our brokers and ANZ connect and what we need to do to make that experience as effective and efficient as it can be.

  • Deliver projects to enable new capability, uplift existing capability and integrate with other platforms
  • Identify and implement process optimisation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the broker experience
  • Unravel requirements from our stakeholders (face to face, virtual workshops etc), document and manage initiatives from requirements to implementation
  • Gather feedback from and manage changes with our brokers to drive continuous improvement and shared understanding
  • Collaborate with and support Engineers, Architects and Experience Designers to help them build beautiful, user-centric solutions that use the Salesforce platform
  • Ensure solutions are elegant in their simplicity. This includes ensuring alignment with other squads on end-to-end journeys
  • Work with change managers, production support team and stakeholders to communicate and embed change and nurture success.

What will you bring?

Business Analysis, Product Management, Business Process Architecture skills are going to set you up for success in this role, coupled with any broker and/or digital transformation experience to really understand and empathise with what we’re trying to achieve.

  • Elicitation techniques, e.g. workshops, requirements gathering, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, slicing, shaping and refining the backlog
  • You love the people aspect of BA work, are curious and thirsty for knowledge, you love ideating solutions, weighing options and testing assumptions
  • Ability to understand, design, document and refine complex systems and processes
  • Complex problem-solving skills; ability to frame a problem and break it down to component parts
  • Contribute to and participate in agile ceremonies such as ideation sessions, refinement, showcases, retrospectives.
  • Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery; we’re building out this proposition as we go, so expect change and ambiguity. Expect to wear different hats!
  • Experience with Salesforce from an engineering/solution design or commercial perspective - you understand the mechanics, capabilities and how to optimise
  • We’re looking for someone who is resilient, flexible, always thinking user-first and puts collaboration before ego
