Following a recent review of the HR and SHEQ structure for Australia, a few internal progression opportunities have led to a newly created HR Business Partner role to support business growth. Come join Epiroc Australia during this exciting phase and be part of our national team to provide professional HR advice to our operations. The HR Business Partner will have a dedicated portfolio and will be responsible for working with operational leaders to support the company maintain best practice, compliance and be the trusted advisor for the full HR employee lifecycle. This is a truly generalist role and a unique opportunity to further enhance your skills across a broad spectrum, working closely with stakeholders to support effective development, attraction, retention and everyday HR functions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to provide input and drive national initiatives that will add significant value to our business.

Ideally, you will possess the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in a similar generalist HR role, preferably within the resources sector;
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of relevant HR legislation;
  • Experience in the effective delivery of people advice and strong partnering orientation;
  • Strong problem solving skills with an appetite to be pro-active;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilise HR metrics to inform business decision making;
  • A results orientated outlook, along with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast paced environment;
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR are preferred although equivalent industry experience will substitute;

The successful candidate must be a team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude and commitment to operating across the full HR lifecycle.
