Description
Summary: Responsible for cleaning patient rooms utilizing the seven-step method of cleaning, isolation areas in accordance with protocols and all other areas of the hospital per work schedules. Knowledgeable to perform laundry duties.

Job Responsibilities:
- Clean all patient rooms utilizing the seven-step method of cleaning.
- Responsible for cleaning of mop buckets, maid’s cart, and any other equipment that may need to be cleaned.
- Clean other hospital departments per cleaning schedule.
- Clean isolation areas according to protocols.
- Empty wastebaskets and take trash to the dumpster.
- Have the knowledge and ability to work in laundry and clinic, if needed.
- Have the knowledge and ability to work any schedule in the Housekeeping Department.
Qualifications
Education Requirements: High school graduate, some college preferred, but not required.
Certification/Licensure: None
Experience Requirements: 1 year of experience in institutional cleaning preferred, but not required.
