Farm Attendant - Net Cleaner

About The Role

Join our team in Strahan as a full-time Farm Attendant - Net Cleaner. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and operating our net-cleaning vessel, ensuring the cleanliness and health of our salmon pens.

Location: Macquarie Harbour

Roster: 7 days on, 7 days off, per fortnight

Daily Requirements

1. Operating Autonomously: Manage the net cleaning vessel independently.
2. ROV Operations: Utilize our Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) to clean salmon pens.
3. Monitoring: Track and report on the status of the nets.
4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols.
5. General Duties: Perform general farm hand tasks as needed.

Required & Desired Skills

1. Coxswain Ticket: Essential for the role.
2. Diesel Endorsement: Highly regarded.
3. Physical Fitness: Necessary for hands-on work.
4. On-Water Experience: Previous professional or hobby experience is beneficial.
5. Reliable Transport: Must have a driver’s license and reliable transport.
