At Kmart Australia, we're seeking a Tech Lead with a focus on People Management to join our dynamic MarTech team. As a member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of our customer interactions by harnessing data and technology to create direct marketing best practices. This exciting role offers you the opportunity to lead cross-functional development and data teams, playing a pivotal role in building and enhancing a best-in-breed marketing and loyalty platform that empowers us to deliver personalized experiences to our valued customers.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide leadership and engineering services to cross-functional development and data teams, fostering rapid innovation.
- Deliver highly complex, cross-channel customer experiences across 1:1 channels, including on-site, mobile, paid media, and more.
- Contribute to the establishment and enhancement of a best-in-breed marketing and loyalty platform.
- Innovate marketing strategies and optimize customer journeys.
- Implement cutting-edge marketing technologies to drive growth.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- An in-depth understanding of the entire web development process, with a strong emphasis on experimentation and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git, SVN, or TFS.
- A deep understanding of SEO principles and the ability to ensure digital client-facing applications adhere to them.
- Extensive coding and programming experience with a keen focus on data.
- Proficiency in Tag Management platforms like Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium iQ.
- Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) platforms such as Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, or Adobe Target.
- Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms, such as Segment, Boxever, or Tealium AudienceStream.
