The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a Cardiology Sales Specialist has arisen in our Healthcare Solutions and Technologies business at Baxter. In this role you will promote the Diagnostic Cardiology range to clinicians and specialists, working on increasing sales revenue and market share across ANZ. With your flawless territory management, you will assist in crafting and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans that align with our commercial business goals.

This is a 12 month fixed term role based NSW and will require working in field including interstate travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships throughout a large geographical area
  • Undertake planned sales calls that seek to understand and confirm customer’s needs, advocate a solution, manage objections and gain a commitment from the customer
  • Maintain and update client information and activity
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, tenders, product demonstrations and in-servicing to potential and existing customers as required
  • Actively participate in the clinical environment by providing technical consultation as required
  • Monitor and control local inventory issues for the relevant products
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence, including account details and competitive activity and provide regular, meaningful and concise reports to Management as required
  • Professionally educate and promote the features, advantages and benefits of Cardiology products to end-users, for example health practitioners, cardiac technicians, nurses, clinicians and specialists
  • Assist with implementing workshops and Education Events establishing and fostering positive relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Provide education support, clinical expertise and clinical in-servicing for our Cardiology products as required.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science/Nursing/ Paramedicine or related fields with specialization in Cardiology
  • Proven experience in medical devices, capital or diagnostics sales is preferred
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence important individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating outstanding collaboration skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required
  • Self-motivated, positive, and responsive, delivering outstanding customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with flawless presentation skills.
