As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

In This Role, You Will:

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice.
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement.
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business.

About Goodstart Thurgoona:

Our center is conveniently located near local amenities, including Woolworths, a bakery, gym, food outlets, and a school. We have easy access to the freeway, a nearby bus stop, and onsite parking for our educators.

Goodstart Thurgoona boasts an expansive playground with natural grass, gumtrees, and three spacious yards. We are proud of our excellent family retention, with many families enrolling their children from Nursery through to school. Our strong reputation within the local community is a testament to the trust and satisfaction our families have in us.

Thurgoona is a thriving community, and our center reflects this dynamic environment. Our leadership team values open communication, safety, inclusion, and building strong relationships. We have three experienced Early Childhood Teachers and a dedicated team of 22 educators, two cooks, and an administration assistant. Our center is licensed for 90 places across six rooms.

You’ll Need:

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health, or community services.
• Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.
