We are looking for experienced, imaginative & nurturing Early Childhood Educator superheroes who:

• have a true passion for Early Childhood Education & Care

• have the imagination to transform a loose part into a fun and valuable learning tool

As a Studio Assistant Educator, there will never be a typical day… Through our play-based learning philosophy we are constantly reminded what a wondrous world we live in. You could go from singing Johnny works with One Hammer to a magician or gardener. Of course you will still be responsible for all of the compliance-based things like safety checks, communicating with families, recording children’s progress, routines and interests - but all while creating a safe supportive space where children thrive.

At Sparrow Early Learning Pacific Pines, we believe that building strong community ties provides a safe and enjoyable learning environment which then builds lifelong learners. We provide a play-based program which is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.

We are located within walking distance of the local high school and Shopping centre as well as Pacific Pines Central Park.

What you’ll need:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Experience in engaging and playful interactions with children.
• Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current & Valid Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
