About the Role

The Research Program and Database Officer is an integral member of the research team within the Surgical Outcomes Research Centre (SOuRCe), responsible for planning, implementation, coordination, data management, and reporting of concurrent research projects conducted within SOuRCe.
These research studies will be varied and require the Research Program and Database Officer to work on concurrent projects with competing deadlines across multiple disciplines. This will include assisting in the development and implementation of research protocols, ethics and governance submission, project management, consumer engagement, patient recruitment, data collection, patient follow-up, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and report writing.
The Research Program and Database Officer will utilize their knowledge of clinical and health services research in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external collaborators, departments, and staff.
