We serve pharmacies, hospitals, and aged care facilities across Western Australia, South Australia, and Northern Territory.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to join our team and help us maintain and grow our business in these regions.

As an Account Manager, you will be the face of embecta, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in pharmacies and hospitals and their supporting administrative staff. You will identify new business opportunities, drive sales growth, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role is perfect for a sales professional with a hunter mentality who thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit identified customers to build and maintain positive working relationships and networks with HCPs and their medical and supporting administrative staff.
  • Successfully execute in-field visits with customers based on the territory plan, efficient journey plans, and call cycle and frequency KPIs as agreed with management.
  • Identify, engage, and mobilize key opinion leaders in therapeutic indications or disease states.
  • Increase sales by leveraging customer insights to provide solutions aligned with customer and brand objectives.
  • Demonstrate business acumen, market and scientific knowledge, and the ability to make tactical decisions to increase sales in the territory

Experience

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience working in specialized disease states, particularly diabetes.
  • Understanding of the hospital and pharmacy landscape.
  • Highly successful professional with a track record of consistent results and exceptional working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • High integrity, accountability for performance, and motivation by team success as well as individual results.
  • Tertiary qualifications are preferred.
