Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer that will be working on all the power-related components, at a vehicle and rotor level. You will be responsible for designing power distributions (e.g. IGBT, MOSFET, DC-link), high voltage power electronics for E-drive and various other subsystems on an aircraft level.

As an Electrical Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

1. Designing CycloRotor E-Drive systems and identifying components.
2. System and equipment design, development, verification and test on HIL, propulsion system test-bench and vehicle.
3. Contribution to the electromagnetic and thermal design of the electric components in the eDrive system.
4. Directing and coordinating manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
5. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
6. Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders, such as aerodynamics, structures, simulation, systems engineering, certification, testing, and customers.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience with electrical vehicles as an electrical engineer, in either aviation or automotive.
3. Experience with testing, verification and qualification in relation to electrical applications.
4. ATA24 knowledge and experience (or equivalent in automotive).
5. Experience with high voltage power electronics for E-drive.
6. Supply management and hands-on experience.
7. Structured and result oriented mentality.
8. Certification experience and DO160, ARP 4754 knowledge.
9. MATLAB/ Simulink knowledge and experience.
