Description
The successful Revenue Operations Manager will be required to:
- Oversee and manage the department's transactional finance function to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable financial performance.
- Provide advice on new revenue opportunities, and keep the team updated on relevant legislation and policy changes affecting revenue.
- Analyse own-source revenue performance against KPIs and help develop policies and procedures that govern this.
- Contribute to the development of policies to ensure revenue processes are optimized and compliant with regulations.
- Establish a system for ongoing review of business processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Advocate for the use of technology to improve the revenue cycle and drive growth.
- Define and track KPIs to assess the performance of the revenue teams and ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration within the finance department, encourage knowledge sharing, and support continuous improvement and learning.
Profile
A successful Revenue Operations Manager should have:
- Prior experience in managing large finance teams.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end functions of transactional finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
- High proficiency in financial software and databases, SAP desired however, not a prerequisite.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a team.
