We are currently seeking a full time People and Culture Partner to join our team based in Newstead. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is a standalone, true HR generalist role.

This is your opportunity to drive and optimise the People and Culture strategy by developing and implementing people operation initiatives, systems and frameworks which foster a positive and productive work environment to support our Company’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment for all positions including drafting adverts, shortlisting, interviewing through to contract preparation and onboarding activities;
  2. Provide high quality industrial and employee relations advice to Directors, Managers and Employees on HR-related policies and procedures;
  3. Develop and implement HR strategies that enhance organisational effectiveness and efficiency;
  4. Support the creation and implementation of all People processes, procedures and initiatives, including Employee Benefits, Campaigns and Engagement initiatives;
  5. Deliver and support the development and implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies;
  6. Develop and implement strategies for talent mapping, succession planning and annual review processes;
  7. Develop, implement and lead various HR Projects; including the roll out of ELMO HR Software.

About you:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources, business or law.
  2. 6+ years’ experience in Human Resources or People and Culture roles.
  3. Knowledge of relevant legislation and various employment laws and practices.
  4. Experience developing and implementing HR Projects.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to maintain effective communication with all levels of the organisation.
  6. Highly organised with exceptional time management and planning abilities.
  7. Experience in Construction, Resources or Manufacturing – desirable.
  8. Experience in HR Software implementation and roll out – desirable.
