The Role
The Grants, Trusts, and Foundations Manager will be a maternity leave cover that plays a critical leadership role within the Marketing, Fundraising, and Partnerships team and is responsible for driving the strategic growth and success of the grants and philanthropy streams. This role is accountable for identifying, securing, and managing funding from trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to support the organisation’s mission and long-term sustainability.
Working closely with the Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, the Grants, Trusts and Foundations Manager develops and executes strategies to cultivate strong relationships with funders, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities. This role also oversees grant applications, reporting, and compliance while collaborating across teams to maximise funding opportunities and demonstrate impact.
The role reports to the Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer and provides guidance and oversight to team members within the grants, fostering a culture of excellence in fundraising and donor stewardship.

Qualifications
We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Grants, Trusts and Foundations Manager with at least three years of experience in grant writing and fundraising. You’ll possess expert knowledge of the grants sector, with a proven track record of identifying and securing funding from trusts, foundations, and government bodies. You’ll have a knack for crafting compelling grant proposals and communicating impact in a way that resonates with funders. Reporting and compliance will be second nature to you, with exceptional attention to detail in meeting funder requirements. You’ll bring a data-driven approach to your work, using insights to develop strategies for growth and continued success. Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and digital—are key, as you’ll be engaging diverse stakeholders, building relationships, and influencing decisions. Experience in the not-for-profit sector, combined with your collaborative and relationship-focused approach, will allow you to thrive in this role as you work to maximise our fundraising potential.
