Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
At Hale School, all students are required to study a language up to the end of Year 9. We are seeking applications from enthusiastic, experienced, and well-qualified professionals for two fixed term positions within our Languages Department. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the Languages Department and will bring an outstanding level of languages learning knowledge, energy, optimism, and collegiality to the Hale School context.
The successful applicant will:
- hold appropriate teaching qualifications.
- have experience in teaching Years 7 to 11 French.
- be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum.
- have an understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social and spiritual development of boys.
- have a firm commitment to independent schooling and be in sympathy with the School’s values and its Anglican traditions.
- be eligible to teach within Western Australia which involves registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA) and a current Working with Children (WWC) Check.

- the names and contact details for three referees, one of whom must be the current or most recent employer.
