Equis Australia is leading Australia’s clean energy transition, with an immediate focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) followed by Wind and Solar farm developments.
By mid 2025, Equis’ first BESS project at Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub will be operational, creating an opportunity for an experienced Battery Bidding Strategy Manager to lead the battery bidding through commissioning into Commercial Operations. By mid 2027, the role will expand to operating a NSW BESS, closely followed by QLD and SA BESS projects.
Day to day the Battery Bidding Strategy Manager will work with the broader Energy Markets team as well as the Battery bidding Optimization algorithm to determine the day and day ahead BESS revenue optimization strategy. This will be a challenging and rewarding role for a person who thrives in a trading environment and shows sound judgment based on complex and evolving risk factors.
