About the Role
This newly established executive leadership role is a strategic priority for QRIC. As Director – ICT Transformation, Digital Engagement, and Systems, you will be responsible for leading QRIC’s digital transformation agenda, ensuring the integration of innovative technologies, streamlining operations, and enhancing service delivery.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Commissioner, you will provide strategic oversight of QRIC’s ICT initiatives, including digital systems, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise architecture. You will drive the adoption of digital solutions that enhance organisational capability while safeguarding the integrity of racing operations in Queensland.
- Lead the development and implementation of QRIC’s ICT Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee digital innovation, system integration, and the creation of a digital transformation roadmap.
- Drive cybersecurity and information management policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
- Provide strategic advice to Senior Executives on ICT and digital solutions to optimise organisational performance.
- Develop a customer centric digital strategy, leveraging emerging technologies, automation, and AI.
- Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships, collaborating with government and industry partners.
- Foster a high-performance, digitally capable workforce, mentoring and developing ICT talent.

Required Skills & Qualifications:- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, or a related field.
- Proven success in ICT leadership in highly regulated environments, statutory bodies or service-driven organisations.
- While highly regarded, previous public sector experience is not required. The appointed candidate must have full working rights within Australia.
