The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a community minded and experienced local government leader who is adaptable, resourceful, and up for a challenge to join the Shire of Meekatharra’s Executive team as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. The key objective of the role will see you provide high level confidential management support to the Chief Executive Officer. This will encompass managing the efficient statutory provision of financial and administrative services for the Shire including overseeing, control, and coordination of all accounting functions and associated activities of the organisation. The successful candidate will also assist in the delivery of, and outcomes within, the Strategic Community Plan, Corporate Business Plan, and other informing documents and act as the CEO as, and when directed.
