NRW Holdings has an opportunity for a Corporate Affairs & Communications Manager to join our corporate team in the Belmont Head Office. This position will play an important role in elevating NRW’s brand within the market while managing critical situations that protect its reputation. Working with senior leadership, the role will help drive proactive public relations initiatives, manage issues effectively, and craft internal and external communications that meet the needs of our investors and other stakeholders.
In this position, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- The development and execution of internal and external communication plans.
- The development of written media materials including press releases, key messages, talking points, website news articles, long form documents and presentations (such as AGM speeches, investor presentations, forwards, corporate publications etc.) and other collateral as required.
- Delivering the company’s annual corporate reporting suite.
- Establishing and managing relationships with key external stakeholders including media and industry partners.
- Establishing and managing media operations including media monitoring capability and policies, reporting to the Executive and first point of contact for members of the media.
- Support the development of corporate collateral to enhance our brand and reputation within the market and to tell our story.
- Planning and delivering external corporate and media events and functions as required.
- Establishing and managing crisis communication capability.
To be considered for this role; you will possess the following:
- Minimum 10 years’ resources industry experience.
- Experience in a broad range of corporate communications across ASX listed entities, including report writing, speech writing and announcements.
- Demonstrated depth of experience in long form writing and editorial skills.
- A genuine passion for written communication with ability to tailor to intended audiences.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceedingly high attention to detail.
