About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asset and Maintenance Manager to join our team at our Jandakot operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our assets, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our facilities and the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement asset management strategies and maintenance plans.
2. Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.
3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
4. Manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors.
5. Monitor and report on asset performance and maintenance activities.
6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
7. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.
8. Manage budgets and control costs related to asset management and maintenance.

About you:

1. Trade qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair.
2. An MVRIC licence as a Motor Mechanic.
3. Extensive experience in scheduling repair, maintenance and servicing of trucks and other light vehicles.
4. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, workshop manuals, hydraulic and electrical system diagrams.
5. Ability to implement and monitor WHS, quality and environment requirements in relation to the Workshop operations and to facilitate training.
6. Demonstrated ability and experience in managing a workshop team, conducting toolbox talks.
7. Possess a current HC licence, motor vehicle licence.
