To drive this further, we are looking for a colleague who is eager to connect with developers, unafraid to tackle challenges head-on, and thrives in a collaborative environment. As Senior Platform Engineer, you will drive initiatives that enhance developer experience, reduce cognitive load, and facilitate efficient product delivery while working in a safe and compliant cloud environment. Your contributions will be vital in transforming our platform team into a proactive product delivery team that effectively supports our internal tech customers.

1. Improve Developer Experience: Streamline processes to minimize cognitive load and make product delivery more efficient. Design and implement user-friendly tools that address developers’ needs and pain points.
2. Foster Platform Engineering: Help transition our platform team into a dynamic product delivery team focused on internal developer satisfaction.
3. Cloud Optimization: Leverage and maintain the advantages of our cloud infrastructure to support product delivery, security, and compliance.
4. Innovate Solutions: Continuously evaluate and adopt innovative approaches to enhance our platform capabilities.

Skills

1. You are a dedicated Platform / DevOps / SRE lover or cloud-affine software developer with a strong focus on enhancing developer experience and agile practices, fostering a culture of experimentation.
2. You have a solid engineering background (preferably with Go, Ruby, or TypeScript), enabling you to connect effectively with developers and understand their challenges.
3. You possess in-depth knowledge of cloud environments (AWS), container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker), and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (Terraform).
4. You are familiar with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as DataDog and Linux / Unix systems.
5. You are passionate about equipping developers with the right tools, processes, and environments to maximize productivity and deliver exceptional business value.
