Senior Engineer / Assistant Area Manager

Required Urgently Senior Engineer / Assistant Area Manager Concrete Line / Boom Pumps & Batching Plants with Diploma / Degree in Mechanical engineering and Minimum 8 years of experience in servicing concrete pumps, including line and boom pumps.

1. Job Purpose

The Pump Service Senior Engineer will be responsible for providing expert-level service, maintenance, and troubleshooting for concrete pumps, including line pumps and boom pumps. The role includes on-site and remote customer support, ensuring high operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Service & Maintenance:
2. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for line pumps and boom pumps.
3. Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
4. Oversee major overhauls and repairs to ensure pumps are in optimal working condition.
5. Customer Support:
6. Provide technical assistance to customers on-site and remotely.
7. Address customer complaints and resolve technical issues promptly.
8. Train customers on equipment operation, basic maintenance, and safety procedures.
9. Team Leadership & Coordination:
10. Lead and guide junior service engineers and technicians.
11. Coordinate with the Area / Regional Service Manager for resource allocation and scheduling.
12. Monitor and report on team performance and service activities.
13. Compliance & Documentation:
14. Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation.
15. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures during service operations.
16. Support the implementation of ISO and other quality standards in service operations.
17. Spare Parts Management:
18. Coordinate with the stores team to ensure the availability of spare parts.
19. Monitor spare parts usage and recommend optimal stock levels.
20. Continuous Improvement:
21. Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to service procedures.
22. Provide feedback to the design and manufacturing teams to enhance product reliability.

3. Required Certifications / Licenses:

Proficient in using Service CRM.

• Excellent problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple service requests.

5. Working Conditions:

Work Environment: travel frequently within the assigned region for on-site service activities.
