Overview

Summary: Assists the Department Director in planning, directing and coordinating the operational, financial and personnel activities of the designated departments. Provides clinical and operational leadership for areas assigned.

Responsibilities

Professional Requirements

  1. Maintains current professional licensure.
  2. Educational Requirements:
    1. Nurse Managers hired or rehired on/after July 2012, without BSN must enroll in BSN courses within 12 months and complete within 48 months.

Qualifications

Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit required.

Academic Preparation: Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 3 years of hire.
