Digital Designer - Argentina

The Digital Designer is an integral part of the BASIC (Part of DEPT) team and helps to design experiences for one of our major clients, Google. You work with a multidisciplinary team and are eager to meet and even exceed the client's needs through design, mobile-first yes. Alongside designing page layouts, you will be repurposing, resizing, and rethinking design systems, as well as crafting new ones. You are a maker, curator of beautiful things, detail-oriented, excellent at collaborating, and eager to be part of a team that makes things come to life. You love to problem-solve and you’ve been able to make an impact for brands in your past experiences. Know that you’ll be dealing with multiple personality types, and need to be able to adapt based on the person you are working and communicating with.

In your role, you will report to the Creative Director, who will drive the strategy and direction for the creative and design team. You will support the team by bringing your talent and passion for design to the work you do every day.

Every day, you will:

1. Design websites mobile and desktop
2. Use Figma
3. Make motion prototypes
4. Concept design directions for commerce experiences
5. See the opportunity in the work you do
6. Bring your best self every day

We are looking for someone who:

1. Is comfortable with direct client interaction with the ability to build relationships, understand client vision/direction, and present designs and concepts.
2. Knows Figma inside and out (and is comfortable in Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch too).
3. Has experience using various prototyping tools to help understand how to test concepts and communicate experiences to internal teams and clients.
4. Is comfortable taking risks in design, pushing past the obvious, and making something you love.
