Job Description
As per Company’s Standard JD Requested Title: Yard Methods Engineer

Skills Required
Reports to Lead Methods Engineer in Yard Rigging & Methods Section

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Prepare construction execution strategy
2. Prepare construction build methodologies
3. Prepare construction yard layouts
4. Prepare analysis, studies and drawings for heavy lifts
5. Prepare analysis, studies and drawings for heavy transport and load-out operations
6. Prepare analysis, studies and drawings for weighing operations
7. Manage a team of designers and draftsmen

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
2. Min. 7 years’ experience as a structural and construction methods engineer with focus on offshore oil & gas structures such as topsides, process platforms, jackets, bridges, pipe racks, etc.
3. Experience in preparation of heavy lift, heavy transport, weighing and loadout studies
4. Experience in conducting structural analysis on software such as SACS and ANSYS
