We are seeking a qualified and experienced Yacht Marine Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our luxury yachts, providing exceptional service to our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on yacht engines, generators, and other onboard systems as per manufacturer's specifications.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems effectively.
3. Oversee the operation and efficiency of onboard machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
4. Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with all maritime regulations.
5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
6. Prepare and submit reports on engine and system performance.
7. Liaise with captains and crew to address any technical issues.
8. Participate in emergency drills and ensure crew is prepared for various scenarios.
9. May be required to assist with guest requests related to onboard systems.
10. Maintain a clean and organized engine room environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Valid STCW 95 (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) certification including medical certificate.
2. Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Yacht Marine Engineer on vessels comparable in size and complexity to our fleet.
3. Strong understanding of marine diesel engines, generators, and onboard systems.
4. Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. A valid UAE Engineer's License (preferred).
9. Experience with specific engines and systems used on our yachts (a plus).
10. Ability to travel extensively and work flexible schedules (including nights and weekends).
