Workshop Technician

• Carry out routine component/tools servicing, calibration, maintenance, modification, and approved repairs compliant with manufacturers' procedures while observing all safety protocols.
• Complete any component/tools maintenance and other tasks as assigned by the immediate Supervisor/Engineers. This includes obtaining and understanding the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Standard Practice Manual (SPM), Quality Manual ISO/IEC 17025, or other approved documentation required to carry out the task.
• Assist Supervisor/Engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectification, and carrying out modifications while performing instructions contained in the job card.
• Ensure all work locations are kept clean and maintain excellent housekeeping. Participate in and promote a safety culture to minimize accidents and highlight any deficiencies or failures that could lead to such accidents. This includes being aware of and communicating safety shortfalls. Maintain vigilance in ensuring work areas (including the ramp), vehicles, stands, and lockers are free of FOD and that toolboxes are regularly audited, maintained, and kept clean.
• Ensure prompt attendance to all allocated tasks with the intent to reduce TAT and avoid operational delays or disruptions. Communicate any aircraft/component/structural defects found to the Supervisor/Engineer/Manager expediently and ensure all required information is clearly passed during shift handovers.
• Able to perform testing, verifications, servicing to monitor, assist, and support all Overhaul/Repair/Refurbishment/Inspection & Calibration tasks required as per special procedures and manuals used in the respective workshop.
• Ensure to be part of the Rapid Response Unit (RRU)/AOG team in the event of aircraft incidents and recoveries.

Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Graduate (12+2) or apprenticeship or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organization, or Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License with 5+ years of experience in Engineering or related fields.
