Workshop Supervisor

The Job Holder will be responsible for the entire workshop activities for Rotating & Static equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Manage entire workshop operations.
2. Manage operation staff.
3. Provide technical & costing support to sales team.
4. Visit customers to evaluate enquiries and clarify scope of work.
5. Communicate with customers for any technical & commercial clarifications.
6. Manage procurement of equipment and consumables for service jobs.
7. Estimate budget for new projects.
8. Monitor and control budget and lead time.
9. Supervise machining activities.
10. Manage spare parts & coordinate with subcontractors.
11. Plan and schedule workshop jobs.
12. Guide and train workshop technicians.
13. Conduct receipt inspection of new equipment, inspect spare parts and machine components, and perform final setup and inspection of equipment before dispatch.

Qualifications

1. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience with OEM manufacturer is essential.
3. Proven experience in service activities of Rotating & Static equipment is essential.
4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project.
