Directs and supervises the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and modification activities carried out on a wide range of mechanical stationery and rotating equipment in the plants, such as machinery, compressors, heat exchangers, etc.
Ensure that workshop employees follow all safety requirements and recommendations.
Plan, assign, and review the work of all supervisors, mechanics in the workshop, and others assigned to the workshop.
Assist workshop, technical, and production management staff to troubleshoot and identify problems on rotating equipment by determining the root cause problem.
Daily checking the breakdown vehicles status with delivery & transport departments and advising supervisors to attend the jobs as per priority.
Arranging all outside breakdown & workshop breakdown vehicles for repairing work and following up maintenance work.
Conducting inspection tests for determining the effectiveness of the vehicles and equipment.
Create and maintain a register of all history cards and maintenance for vehicles and equipment.
Manage the administration of the mechanical workshop. Ensure all log books and department records are effectively maintained to enable stock control, ordering of parts, and all other workshop functions to operate efficiently.
Review ongoing workshop maintenance and repair projects and provide engineering support for their completion.
Coordinate the issue of spare parts with the store to ensure required stock availability.
Perform maintenance work for all groups in this organization.
Order spare parts as per the workshop requirement.
Perform diagnosis tests of Mercedes and Volvo trucks and give repairing orders as per the diagnosis report.
Maintain a high level of HSE standards as per company policy.
