Workshop Operations Manager

Job Description:

The Workshop Operations Manager will lead the setup and operations of a new automotive workshop in Dubai, ensuring top-quality repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics for all types of vehicles except commercial. The role emphasizes operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the workshop's setup, including equipment procurement, layout planning, and supplier negotiations.
2. Manage all operational aspects, focusing on reducing service times, increasing throughput, and optimizing costs.
3. Prioritize initial services such as electrical, mechanical, and maintenance work.
4. Ensure the workshop adheres to high-quality standards and technical excellence.
5. Supervise repairs and maintenance for internal fleet and rental vehicles, expanding to external clients over time.
6. Build and train a competent team aligned with company objectives and standards.
7. Implement reporting and performance monitoring systems.
8. Support daily showroom operations and assist customers with inquiries.
9. Drive sales and meet individual and team targets.
10. Conduct market research to identify potential office/showroom locations.
11. Collaborate with the team to enhance showroom appeal and customer experience.
12. Track inventory, manage logistics, and support operational processes.
13. Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. 10 years in the automotive industry in similar roles.
2. Experienced in repairing all types of vehicles except commercial.
3. Strong technical and operational expertise.
4. Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships.
5. Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
6. Proficiency in English, Arabic & additional languages is an advantage.
