Ensure the proper functioning, safety, and efficiency of workshop equipment and machinery.
Maintain productivity and minimize downtime through proactive and preventive maintenance and repair activities.
Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance on wastewater treatment plant equipment such as mixers, pumps, and winches.
Operate lathe, drilling, cutting, and other workshop equipment.
Replace or repair broken or defective parts and address equipment defects.
Utilize basic fabrication skills, including small welding tasks.
Occasionally travel to various sites to conduct maintenance and repair operations.
Exhibit a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards by understanding and complying with safety regulations, Occupational Health and Safety Codes, and company policies related to maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications
Candidate must have ITI or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Demonstrated experience in a diverse, multi-disciplinary environment.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Certification in workshop practices would be advantageous.
