Workshop Manager (Chinese trucks and cars) in Dubai

We are looking for a workshop manager that has experience of not less than 5 years in Chinese trucks and cars.

1. Monitor the allocation of repair orders to ensure the right tasks are handed to the technicians with the suitable skills for the job.
2. Facilitate the orientation of new team members in collaboration with the Workshop Manager by familiarizing them with work surroundings, explaining work hours, procedures, use of equipment, and job expectations, and ensure that new team members understand their respective duties.
3. Maximize shop productivity by ensuring continuous workflow and proper application of the labor time guide as well as when and where to apply straight time.
4. Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed, including health & safety standards for technicians and staff, proper use of tools and equipment, and care of customers' property.
5. Act as the interface between the technicians and the management.
6. Maintain communication with Team Leaders and Technicians by clarifying diagnostic procedures and sharing and explaining new information in bulletins.
7. Monitor the quality of the services provided by the technicians to facilitate a high standard and raise the customer satisfaction index.
8. Assist when there is difficulty in interpreting a customer complaint and in the correct write-up of the complaint.
9. Evaluate technician skills and recommend future training requirements.
10. Provide reports related to departmental monthly targets and average productivity.
