We are currently seeking experienced candidates to join our team as a Worker Welfare Inspector for our project in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.

Position Overview:

The Worker Welfare Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being of all workers by implementing and enforcing workplace welfare standards in compliance with client and company policies. This position requires close coordination with various stakeholders to establish and maintain Worker Welfare Policies, Procedures, and facilities that align with client expectations.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Ensuring workplace Worker Welfare requirements are implemented and complied with.
  2. Coordinating with all concerned parties to ensure workplace-specific Worker Welfare facilities are in line with the Legal and ALEC requirements.
  3. Conducting monthly audits/inspections on the approved company provided accommodation facilities and issuing a report thereof to the WWC and WW Manager for review and approval.
  4. Conducting weekly inspections on the project welfare facilities and issuing a report thereof to the WWC and WW Manager for review and approval.
  5. Conducting weekly inspections on the approved company provided transportation (buses and light vehicles) and issuing a report thereof to the WWC and WW Manager for review and approval.
  6. Conducting daily monitoring of all food that is delivered to the project site for consumption by the employees on the project and issuing a report thereof to the WWC and WW Manager for review and approval. Food temperatures must be maintained before consumption at 63 degree C or as close as possible thereto.
  7. Coordinating with WWC/WWM to ensure non-conformances raised during inspections are followed up and closed out without unnecessary delay.
  8. Participating in any Worker Welfare related meetings as stipulated by the WW Department.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or diploma in HR with Security exposure.
  • Must be fluent in English and Hindi (read, write, speak).
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements, team management skills, statistical analysis, communication, and reporting skills.

OTHER SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • MS Office complete package.
