Amazon is looking for a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to join the team:

Year on year, as we continue to grow, we need to work as smart as we can to keep all our team members safe, fulfilled, motivated, and empowered. To help us achieve this, we're seeking a driven EHS Officer. With your Bias for Action, we'll need you to step in and help drive health and safety across our fulfillment center in Riyadh. In this crucial WHS position, you'll report to the WHS Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead site risk assessment for current and new activities.
2. Establish site WHS training matrix.
3. Lead implementation of site-specific WHS standards and guidelines.
4. Lead implementation of site WHS objectives and programs.
5. Promote a safe culture among employees by providing daily WHS content to shift briefings.
6. Perform frequent site safety audits to identify noncompliance in equipment and/or processes at the site.
7. Work with Operations team to implement solutions that eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injury.
8. Attend to incidents and occupational injury cases on-site.
9. Guide and assist area managers on incident investigations, Gensuite write-up, and communication of lessons learned.
10. Assist Ops team in Gensuite follow-up sheet and CAPA creation.
11. Audit recordkeeping practices and ensure Gensuite entries align with global WHS standards and local regulations.
12. Ensure the PPE inventory at site and coordinate with procurement for order placement.
13. Key Safety Requirement (KSR) Audit weekly assignment monitoring and support.
14. Ensure basic Fire Fighting training and first aid training completion.
15. Daily Powered Industrial Tool and Trailer Dock Release inspection and communication.
16. Daily Action Tracking System monitoring and support.
17. Participate in site management safety walks to provide insights into unsafe acts and conditions to management.
18. Provide daily updates to Country WHS Manager on objectives' progress, incidents, KSR, ATS network actions, etc.
19. Preparation of WHS committee meeting agenda, MOM write-up, and ATS creation.
20. Daily Permit to Work review and sign-off.
21. Lead on WHS-related procurement and follow-up.
22. Preparing emergency response plans and managing conduct of emergency drills.
23. Managing preparation and training of emergency drills and record-keeping.
24. Heat Index establishment monitoring and support.
25. Provide support to site-specific requests, unplanned events, and activities.
26. Conduct daily and weekly WHS audits, such as hazard waste room inspection, spill kit inspection, first aid room, etc.

Qualifications:
Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills.
Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
Experience leading and managing a team.
Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses.
Experienced in emergency response, currently holds First Aid and CPR certificates.
Experience in Workers Compensation case management and analyzing/manipulating data.
