Wet Utility Design Engineer

Bilfinger is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Wet Utilities Engineer (Infra) to join our team! In this role you will get to perform duties such as preparation of concept, preliminary and detailed designs together with Tender and contract documents.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Perform design/analyses calculations related to wet utilities such as irrigation, potable water, sewer, stormwater, subsurface drainage networks using governing engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
2. Research and prepare design options and documents.
3. Extract engineering information from CAD drawings.
4. Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
5. Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.
6. Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
7. Provides technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower level Engineers working on the same project.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline from Major University.
2. Minimum 10+ Years postgraduate experience of infrastructure engineering design particularly water and wastewater networks with progressively increasing responsibility.
3. At least 5 years as a Design Engineer with some responsible for supervision of design resources.
4. Previous experience of building network models using SewerGems, WaterGems, InfoSWMM, WANDA and similar hydraulic design software.
5. Previous experience in ArcGIS (ESRI) is preferable.
6. Extensive and knowledgeable computer skills (AutoCAD).
7. Ability to implement Quality Management System on projects effectively.
8. Good spoken and written English is essential.
