Welding Inspector

Salary: $37,440-$41,600 per year

Shift Availability: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

As a Welding Inspector, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating robotic welding equipment safely and efficiently. Your essential functions will include operating robotic welders in a production environment. Additionally, you may also be responsible for CMM inspection duties, which involve inspecting coordinate measuring machines using a probe, developing inspection programs, ensuring machine functionality, and calibrating equipment for accurate measurement.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 1-2 years of experience
3. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling tasks
4. Proficiency in reading blueprints, basic math skills, and accurate reading and writing
5. Previous welding experience is advantageous
6. Good motor skills and the ability to obtain or possess a valid forklift license
7. Familiarity with reading gauges, understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and programming GMAW (mig) welders or computer skills are a plus
