Web Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and Shopify to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites and e-commerce platforms that align with our company's goals. This role requires an individual who is proficient in WordPress and Shopify development and has the ability to troubleshoot, design, and deploy functional websites and online stores.

Responsibilities

• Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• E-Commerce Development: Create and manage custom Shopify stores, including product uploads, theme customizations, integrations, and payment gateway setups.
• Theme Customization: Customize and modify WordPress themes and Shopify templates to meet client specifications and branding guidelines.
• Plugin Integration: Install, configure, and maintain WordPress plugins and Shopify apps to extend site functionality.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Address and resolve technical issues on websites, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance, including improving page load speeds, SEO, and user interface enhancements.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing across browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure cross-platform compatibility and a bug-free experience.
• Security: Ensure security best practices are followed, including regular software updates, secure login, data protection, and backup protocols.

Minimum Requirements

Proven Experience: At least 4 years of experience in web development with a focus on WordPress and Shopify.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Expertise in WordPress development (theme customization, plugin integration, site performance).
• Solid experience in Shopify development (theme customization, Shopify Plus, app integrations).
• Familiarity with Liquid, Shopify's templating language.

E-Commerce Focus

Experience in creating and managing e-commerce platforms with a focus on Shopify, including product management, payment gateways, shipping options, and reporting.

SEO Knowledge

Familiar with on-page SEO best practices, tools like Google Analytics, and SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast for WordPress).

Responsive Design

Proficiency in creating responsive, mobile-friendly websites using frameworks such as Bootstrap or CSS media queries.

Version Control

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing code changes.

Problem-Solving

Strong debugging skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.

Attention to Detail

Meticulous attention to design and code quality, ensuring a seamless user experience.
