Lead functional monitoring of day-to-day operations in receipt and disposal of all goods.
Ensure effective inter-departmental communications to solve outstanding issues.
Manage all inspections and audits effectively.
Oversee the timely transport of materials from Lamprell to other facilities and vice versa.
Maintain a cordial and friendly relationship with clients for auditing and inspecting client-supplied materials.
Monitor inventory stock levels and associated stock holding where applicable.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities.
Provide leadership in system materials control wherever applicable.
Oversee the conducting of random counts to verify the system with physical quantities.
Support warehouse leadership with system-generated reports for various activities.
Conduct toolbox talks every day to ensure each day's work safety.
Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.
Specifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the oil & gas construction industry with excellent communication skills.
Degree or diploma is preferable.
Thorough knowledge in stores operating processes, QC procedures relating to stores, and technical knowledge of stores items relating to the offshore construction industry.
Ability to manage manpower and storage space.
Competency to coordinate and lead activities, identifying minimum/maximum stock levels and maintaining optimum inventory levels.
Able to quantify operational requirements and respond accordingly.
Capable of managing issues by determining root causes, judging them, and resolving them by properly distributing activities among team members.
