About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution. This role is critical in maintaining warehouse productivity, safety, and compliance while supporting the overall logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
- Supervise warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and conduct regular stock checks to prevent discrepancies.
- Maintain warehouse organization, ensuring proper space utilization and stock placement.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Train and guide team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to enhance efficiency.
Process Optimization & Compliance
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and transportation teams to optimize warehouse workflows.
Reporting & Problem-Solving
- Track warehouse KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, fulfillment speed, inventory accuracy) and prepare reports for management.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, such as delayed shipments, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse supervision experience, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or FMCG industries.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and best warehouse practices.
